Two listing pages read on one morning. On the shapewear shelf, 18,167 of the 31,124 ratings sit on two products at zero percent off. On the swimwear shelf, the biggest badge belongs to a suit nobody has rated at all.
We read the first listing page of Myntra's shapewear and women's swimwear sections on 11 September 2026 - sixty-four slots, fifty-four distinct products behind them - and the shapewear page does something unusual. Its two best-rated items, 4.5 stars from 10,398 and 7,769 ratings, are listed at their MRP: zero percent off, on a page whose median badge is 51.5%. Between them they hold fifty-eight percent of the shelf's ratings. The swimwear page inverts it: median badge 63%, and the nine listings nobody has rated run 71%.
Every price below was pulled from Myntra on September 11, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Myntra coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

First: on shapewear, do not read a zero next to the price as a missing deal. The two most-rated products on that page have never been marked down, and that is the clearest quality signal the shelf offers. Second: count the product, not the tile - one shaper occupies six of thirty-two slots and its 10,398 ratings are shown six times, so the page looks nearly three times better evidenced than it is. Third: on swimwear, check the rating before the badge, because the deepest discounts sit almost entirely on listings with no rating at all. Fourth: check the colour you picked against the price - the same HRX swimming dress sells at Rs. 1,299 and Rs. 1,416 on the same page depending on colourway, the same trap we found on Myntra's sock shelf.

Myntra's shapewear page shows thirty-two slots. Behind them are twenty-four distinct products: one Rs. 699 TWIN BIRDS saree shapewear takes six of the thirty-two slots, one per colourway, and every copy displays the same 10,398 ratings. Add the slots up and the page looks like it holds 89,257 ratings; the products behind them hold 31,124. The swimwear page is far cleaner — thirty distinct products in thirty-two slots, 15,060 displayed against 13,655 real. Every figure on this page is computed on the distinct products.
On the shapewear page they point in opposite directions, and hard. The two best-rated products there — 10,398 ratings and 7,769 ratings, both TWIN BIRDS, both 4.5 stars — are listed at zero percent off, MRP equal to selling price. The page median is 51.5%. Five of the twenty-four distinct products carry no discount at all, and between them they hold more than half the page's ratings. We seat them at full price and say why that is the honest signal.
The swimwear page runs the other way from shapewear: median badge 63%, nothing at zero. Nine of its thirty distinct products have no rating at all, and those nine run a median badge of 71% against 62% for the twenty-one that do. The deepest badge on either page — 80% off, Rs. 592 against a stated Rs. 2,999 — sits on a swimsuit with no rating and no reviews. We seat one of them as the example and label it plainly rather than burying it.
Saree shapewear, a tummy tucker brief, a thigh slimmer and a post-pregnancy shaper are four different purchases that a single search returns together, and so are a legsuit, a skirtini, a bikini set and a beach cover-up. Coverage, compression level and whether a swimsuit is chlorine-resistant decide whether the thing is any use, and none of them is in the price. Every card here names the garment type and the coverage in its spec strip.
Because it does not need to be. In this read of the shapewear page on 11 September 2026, the two products with the most ratings — TWIN BIRDS mermaid saree shapewear at Rs. 699 with 10,398 ratings, and its stretchable version at Rs. 899 with 7,769, both 4.5 stars — are listed at their MRP with no badge at all. They hold fifty-eight percent of the page's ratings between them. The page median badge is 51.5%, so the pattern is not subtle: on this shelf the discount is largest where the evidence is thinnest. Prices change without notice.
In this read the cheapest was a PLUMBURY tummy and thigh shaper at Rs. 551, rated 4.2 stars from 833 ratings, displayed as 71% off a stated Rs. 1,899. The better-evidenced cheap option is the same brand's high-waist tummy tucker at Rs. 575 with 3,394 ratings at 4.3 stars. Note that the two carry stated MRPs of Rs. 1,899 and Rs. 1,599 while selling twenty-four rupees apart, which is what a list price set to produce a badge looks like. Saree shapewear specifically starts at Rs. 695 for a Zivame and Rs. 699 for the TWIN BIRDS.
Read them next to the rating count. The deepest badge in this read — 80% off, Rs. 592 against a stated Rs. 2,999 — sits on a swimsuit with no star average, no ratings and no reviews. That is not an isolated case: the nine swimwear listings here with no rating run a median badge of 71%, while the twenty-one that have one run 62%. The best-rated swimsuit on the page, a Rs. 999 CUKOO at 4.5 stars from 1,545 ratings, is 62% off. The garments may be fine at their selling prices; it is the stated MRP behind the badge we cannot verify.
Of the thirty distinct swimsuits in this read, only one states a chlorine-resistant fabric: Decathlon's Nabaiji quick-dry suit at Rs. 899, rated 4.3 stars from 542 ratings and carrying the smallest badge on the shelf at 31%. Ordinary polyester swimwear loses shape and opacity after a season of chlorinated pool use, and none of the fashion-led listings here specifies a fabric treated against it. If you swim weekly, that specification matters more than the price; if you are buying for a holiday, the Rs. 699 IMPERATIVE swimming dress at 4.4 stars from 841 ratings is the better-evidenced buy.
On these pages, yes, and by more than you would expect. The same HRX round-neck swimming dress appears twice on the swimwear page at Rs. 1,299 and Rs. 1,416 — a nine percent gap — sharing a single pool of 177 ratings, and the same Keepfit legsuit appears at Rs. 832 and Rs. 844 sharing 3,145. Because the rating pool is shared, both colourways look equally well reviewed while costing different amounts. Before you add to bag, open the other colours of the same product and compare; it is the cheapest saving available on this shelf.
